Description: Sculpture, b.1924-d.1999 Internationally known sculptor of corporate, institutional, liturgical & private commissions. His sculptures can be seen in 28 states & in Saudi Arabia, Singapore & Moscow. He was a co-founder & former president of the St. Louis Sculptors Gallery & the first artist-in-residence at the Missouri Council of the Arts program. One of his last major sculptures, the Millennium Spire, is located in Belleville, Illinois. This piece is an early example of his work in copper. This large botanical form highly stylized in copper with applied patina, was commissioned in early 1950's and installed in the home of St. Louis architect Meyer Loomstein. Photo's are available upon request of the residence. A Xerox of his work, client list and biography is also available. The sculpture is separated in four sections for easier transportation.
